About.
Every year since 2009, Kingston High School has participated in the Zehnder's Snowfest, High School Snow Sculpting Competition. The High School Competition consists of four students and one coach. Teams have two days (using no power tools) to carve a 6 foot by 6 foot by 8 foot tall block of snow that is estimated to weigh in excess of 8 tons! Teams typically have about 12 hours on Thursday and 10 hours of Friday before the sculptures are judged.
